Beause of the maritime climate the weather can be very different in the winters. When the wind comes from the Atlantic Ocean and North Sea it will be rather ‘warm’, that means between 5 and 12 degrees Celsius. It can bring storms too.
When the wind blows from the north and east, the Scandinavian countries and Russia it can be very cold with ice and snow. Sometimes it can be freezing at night for 20 degrees Celsius.

Another thing which gives beautiful views is when it’s freezing and foggy. The frost deposit will be on the trees and plants. It’s beautiful to see, especially when the next day the sun shines.
